I think everyone had a large time, I know I did.

Thanks for the guided tour of your backyard. Sometime tomorrow I'll see I can get some pics up.

Rimtrail you are a great host. I had a blast and strangely enough got quite comfortable riding that knarly 105. It really grows on you. Sorry to say my vids are a mess as most pics are of my helmet peak and front fender. Hopefully someone got good vid of 105. The KTM saved my bacon so many times it was unbelievable.

Thanks Jimmy for showing us your garden.  Everyone pitching for cold drinks, coffee and breakfast at Cafe Tortuga made the the conversations enjoyable.  I got alot of vids to process...

If it were not for the jagged edged rocks on that last portion of T105...and the big climbs, I would have sworn we were in Frederic ,MI which has those same kind of raised roots all over the trail. It was also unusual to see all the loamy soil. Unusual out here and unique. Those last 2 switchbacks were wild and wholly....gas and go and hope for the best. Aggressive or give up is the only way to ride those sections. I tried not to DAB...they are like trials sections in places. Just beautiful scenery. I wanted to look ,but knew I had to attend to business. Man, and that great piney smell everywhere. We got to get George to start running Maxima 927 castor though..... Smells better than SuperM!

crap, I forgot to hit save.

Here's a "happy" little video of my technique putting a bike upright.

That little stunt made me a bit jittery for the last few miles on 105. All I could think about. I suspect the nervous twitch will disappear in a week or so.

 ;D

The bike wasn't going much farther - there was a log that would have stopped it. Basically, I high-sided off the bike launched myself down the canyon. I broke a branch off the log as I flew over it and that slowed me down enough to the point where a few more rolls ended my trip down the hill.

It seemed rather spectacular as I was flying and rolling but everything was fine in the end. Really surprised I wasn't hurt. lol

I took a brief video afterwards and that shows how it was laying a bit better.

After the adrenalin wore off, those steep drop offs got into my head to the point where I was just puttin' along. Walked my bike past those two switchbacks.

Something from the last day. After looking at the time stamps on the videos I was amazed how much I slowed the group down. Probably should have bailed off on one of those exit points and met the group towards the end.
